In celebration of the School's 60th Anniversary, gifts to The 1964 Society will be used to upgrade our classrooms with furniture and technology that enhance learning by providing access to diverse resources that facilitate interactive lessons, promote collaboration, and prepare our students for a tech-driven future.
1964 Society members will be invited to a special event in their honor during the 60th Anniversary weekend, 7-9 June 2024.
Named for the year in which the School was founded, The 1964 Society gratefully acknowledges benefactors whose annual donations of $1,964 or more to the St. Stephen’s Fund show that St. Stephen’s is close to their hearts. Donors are members during the academic year following their donation. Membership is renewed each year with an annual contribution of $1,964.
ST. STEPHEN'S FUND
The St. Stephen’s Fund is the School’s annual giving campaign to provide the financial resources that enable us to sustain the hallmarks of a St Stephen’s education, including small class sizes, superb teachers, and signature programs, such as the Lyceum and iLab, that allow students to achieve at their highest level.
HOW ARE ST. STEPHEN’S FUND GIFTS USED?
You can see the impact of your St. Stephen’s Fund gifts everywhere at St. Stephen’s. It’s in every student’s experience —every academic department, laboratory and classroom — because unrestricted gifts to the St. Stephen’s Fund go directly into the School’s operating budget. These flexible funds represent the “margin of excellence” that supports unparalleled teaching and allows the School to seize new opportunities, respond to unexpected challenges, for the benefit of the entire community.
WHY SUPPORT ST. STEPHEN’S?
Like all non-profit, service-based organizations, the School’s operating budget is increasingly dependent upon donations to remain competitive, as tuition levels do not always cover all the expenses of operating the School. The St. Stephen’s Fund and other fundraising efforts help close the gap. St. Stephen’s Fund donations can also help the School launch new programs, like the Aventinus Minor Project, the school’s archaeological dig in partnership with The American University of Rome. Your donation will help us become a financially stronger institution and shows that you believe in the School’s vision and want to be a part of ensuring St. Stephen’s future.
